Total Worker Health 101 Training
from the Oregon Total Worker Health Alliance
The Oregon Total Worker Health Alliance curriculum and education was highlighted by the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) in its June 2021 TWH in Action! newsletter as a Promising Practice. Courses such as TWH 101: The Basics, have been most recently taught virtually to safety and health, wellness and human resource professionals from Oregon, Region 10, and beyond. The Oregon Total Worker Health Alliance is a collaboration between our Institute and the Oregon Healthy Workforce Center, SAIF and Oregon OSHA.
Oregon Healthy Workforce Center Summer Institute

The recorded sessions are now available to watch at no cost.
Join Oregon Healthy Workforce Center each year for a Summer Institute co-sponsored by Portland State University’s OHP-TWH Program and Saint Mary’s University, Center for Occupational Health & Safety.
Each year, the Summer Institute reaches students, researchers, occupational safety and health practitioners, human resource professionals, and industry leaders together. By the end of the event, our goal is for attendees from academia and industry to have an understanding of how to apply the Total Worker Health approach with the ultimate goal of improving workplace safety, health, and well-being, and to share their findings and concepts with students and emerging professionals.
